40 Years Strong

Intra Corporation was founded in 1976. Over the past forty years, Intra has grown into an international company specializing in precision manufacturing and engineering-build of custom measurement equipment and technology. Our success is attributed to our strategic acquisitions and the incredible staff we have working hard everyday to meet our customer’s demanding requirements.

Timeline

1976

Intra Corporation founded in Michigan by John Battista Sr.

2005

Intra acquired Siemens Measurement Systems (SMS); The acquisition added a significant product family to Intra as well as locations in Philadelphia, PA and the United Kingdom.

We continue to support all Moore Products & Siemens Measurement Systems products & software today.

2007

Intra acquired Fenn Engineering (United Kingdom) intellectual property and certain assets.

2010

Intra acquired Air Gage Company intellectual property, work in process, certain capital assets and the transition of over 25 Air Gage employees.

The entire Air Gage business and engineering network is located at Intra headquarters, and all Air Gage standard product and existing designs remain supported by Intra.

2018

Intra formed Intra Aerospace. A company specialized in the manufacturing of precision gears and assemblies for the aerospace and defense industries. The facility is located in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Intra Aerospace LLC is an independent business unit.
