Master parts

Key to any inspection strategy is the ability to confirm a gauge’s accuracy.

This can be accomplished by comparing the gauged results of a particular production part through a secondary inspection. It can also be accomplished by creating a perfect part more commonly known as a mean part type master.

Part type masters, certified in a quality lab, are a convenient means of quickly verifying the accuracy of a gauge.
